DENIA'S MIND

Who was Denia?
Denia was the kind of woman whose presence filled a room before she ever said a word. She laughed easily, loved deeply, and gave more of herself than she ever kept. If someone needed help, she showed up. If a neighbor was struggling, she found a way to support them. And like many women, she carried a quiet strength that often went unnoticed because she was always busy taking care of everyone else.
She raised five children with love and grit, often putting her needs last. For years, her world revolved around family—answering phone calls, solving problems, being the one everyone relied on. But when her children grew up and built their own lives, she suddenly found herself with something she had never experienced before: silence. And in that silence came loneliness, exhaustion, and a decline in her health that she never learned to prioritize.
At 62, Denia developed early dementia. Watching her bright, lively spirit fade was heartbreaking for her family. But her story did not end there. Her life—and everything she poured into others—sparked a mission.
